关于they指代的问题~~！请教nn

这个题选C，我的问题是abc的them是不是指代不清？因为我看很多题目的解释都是them有可能指代前面的很多复数，这个题里面如果them 指的是astronomers ，那语意不通，不就错误了吗？

这个题选A，可是A said后面宾语从句，不应该有that吗，没有that怎么能对呢，虽不是选b啊~~~

关于which ,they ,them , that 指代问题我也挺困扰的刚做了许多PREP题，感觉稍微有了点，我是这么分析的LZ你看看：

第一题。C的 them 就近指代planets。 E选项少了个as, D的WHICH 指代jupiter ，逻辑错误。、

第二题。A缺少that 的确有错啊但是别的选项错的更严重。B,C罗嗦的不行， DE用了enough。

刚开始复习GMAT，一点拙见，望高手指正！

嗯。。谢谢ls 但是关于they指代我还是不太懂题目的解释有的时候说 they指代不清前面的名词复数，有的时候说they 就是指代谁谁。。要不就是逻辑错误，很郁闷。。

我也正在困扰这个问题搜索了论坛里N多关于代词指代的帖子
自己小小总结了下
they虽然就近指代但也可以逻辑指代远的那个
所以更多的时候不应作为评判标准

就是做题时千万别钻牛角尖，比如说我刚做道题 recommend 后面虚拟
很简单， ACDE都没用，就B用的，但是B后面有个it可能产生歧义我就开始犹豫不决了啊
这个取舍真的很痛苦，甚至开始怀疑是不是recommend不用虚拟，只是宾语从句...

哎。。。真不知道考试时怎么办，肯定是不忍心按NEXT。。。

希望能有高手来解答我和LZ的困惑。。。。

代的是pollutants 。划线部分they不是指的开头的主语吗

选D，我也是选的D，但还是有疑问，abde里的they和them不存在指代不清晰的问题吗？可以指代cells，也有可能指代 hormones呀，如果是后者，那不就逻辑出错了吗？。可是有的时候答案就说they/them可能造成指代不清晰，到底什么情况算清晰，什么算不清晰？请指教，谢谢！！
