Get your TOEFL scores faster by phone


If you do not want to wait to receive your TOEFL score results by mail, you can have them reported to you by phone approximately 14 business days after the test date if you type your essay. If you handwrite your essay, your scores will be available about five weeks after you test.


Scores by phone are available seven days a week, between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m. New York time. The fee for this service is US$10 per call.


When you call, you will need:

• a touch-tone phone
  
• to provide your 16-digit appointment number, test date, and date of birth.
  
• a valid credit card (VISA, MasterCard, JCB, Discover, or American Express -- no other credit card will be accepted). You must provide the credit card number and expiration date.

Where to call:

• If you live in the United States, U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, or Canada, call toll-free 1-888-863-3544.
  
• From all other locations, call 1-609-771-7267. You will receive a charge on your telephone bill for the cost of the phone call.
  
• If you are deaf, hard of hearing, or speech impaired and have access to a Teletypewriter (TTY), you may call 1-609-771-7714. A charge will be added to your phone bill for the cost of the call.
