后面没有former，所以前面也要去掉former，不过这题真是奇怪....

这是一个逻辑错误，如果用former chair的话，前面应该用不定冠词 a，因为这个board肯定不止一个former chair
所以E选项更符合逻辑

我有个不同意的观点，我们好像不能肯定这个board有几个chair吧，贸然说应该加冠词 a 不大妥当

我觉得应该是因为for 18 consecutive years 和former不符，类似于一个过去式后跟一个段时间不符，而且主句有过去式明显表示他是一个former chair，重复

NN何以看出不是前任呢？前任就不可以做18年然后退休？不懂耶
