The Graduate School at the University of Maryland College Park strongly encourages applicants and their references to submit their letters of recommendation supporting a candidate's admission electronically through the Application Supplemental Form (ASF). Electronic submission of application materials streamlines the review and admissions decision process for students. Sending paper copies of recommendation letters will increase processing and review times for your application.
Upon completion of the Common Web Application, you will be granted access to your Application Supplemental Form, which will allow you to send notification and instructions to your references on how to submit their letters of recommendation electronically.
I know that it will be better to submit the recommendations in electronically, however, one of my recommender do want to use the hard copy. So please send me the recommender cover if you have.
