我觉得答案应该是C。A的come不能代替come to being, C的had done可以。

所以不能用come代替came to being。

偶觉得had done是错误的，除非前面也是had done即done是作为实意动词，而非助动词。

当前面的动词用came，go或其他任何实意动词时，比较结构的后半句用did，do，或does补出，这时did,do, and does都是作为助动词而非实意动词。

因此如果要表达与他之前的人比较的话，要么只补充助动词had，要么用完整的动词had come。
