求教一道GWD上的语法题

今天做到GWD13套上的一道语法题，看了答案，有些不能理解，特意来请教各位牛牛。题目如下：

这道题我选了C ，因为我认为从逻辑意思的表达上来讲，“在挖掘中发现的21个陶狗塑像使得Artifacts的数量加倍”，强调的是21个这个数量使原来的数量加倍，这样可能更符合逻辑意思。但是答案是E，强调“发现使原来的数量加倍”。就是这点让我有点想不通，请各位牛牛赐教~~

C不能照你那么翻译 discovering 这里强调动作，是发现的这个动作double 了数量么,我觉得更说不通

CD的区别就是一个强调动作，一个强调结果，是发现这个结果导致了数量的加倍
