请教OG12-- verb36，it的代词问题

在OG解释中，A选项的解释为“The second appearance of it as the subject of continues and is leaves polio as a subject with no verb"
B选项的解释为“The pronoun it is ungrammatical because polio already occupies the subject position for the verbs continues and can be brought"
我不太理解A选项的解释，对于B选项，为什么polio是continues和can be brought的主语，it就不能在做主语了呢？

去掉“although。。。。”两逗号之间的插入语，就变成,Polio,it continues......两个主语，一个谓语哎。。重复了～如果It 前面有个and就对了～～

although。。。作为插入语，B选项我明白啦。但是为什么A选项解释中，说is able to的那个分句，polio作为主语没有动词呢？一般不是两个动作具有相同的主语，and后的主语就可以省略么？

我觉得解释应该不是说is able to的那个分句，Polio作为主语没有动词把～应该是都没动词把，It已经充当continues和is...的主语了，Polio作为主语缺少谓语成分。
