[原创]分词逻辑主语及其修饰成分的判断

复习期间就分词部分做了小小的总结，边总结边学习，其中不免有失妥之处，请XDJM们多多指教，共同进步！

一、分词短语在句首起状语作用，逻辑主语=句子主语

OG11 57 Affording
strategic proximity to the Strait of Gibraltar, Morocco
was also of interest to the French throughout the first half of the twentieth
century because they assumed that without it their grip on Algeria would never be secure.

 白勇五章1 Delighted by the reported earnings for the first
quarter of the fiscal year, the company manager
decided to give her staff a raise.

二、--ed分词短语在句尾，一般优先就近做定语，修饰名词

1．分词前有逗号即
        主句，+--ed 分词短语（各位能否提供一例）

2. 分词前无逗号即
        主句--ed 分词短语

OG10 210. Scientists have recently discovered what could be
the largest and oldest living organism on Earth, a giant fungus that is an
interwoven filigree of mushrooms and rootlike
tentacles
            spawned
by a single fertilized spore some 10,000 years ago and extending for more
than 30 acres in the soil of a Michigan
forest.(时态的并列)

三、-ing 分词形式放句尾

A表伴随结果，整个句子是原因，导致分词动作产生，无逻辑主语

OG10 259. Five fledgling sea eagles left their nests in western Scotland
this summer, bringing
to 34 the number of wild birds successfully raised since transplants from
Norway began in 1975(it was not the eagles themselves but rather the entire
action of their leaving their nests that brought the number to 34)

OG11 104 Nuclear fusion is the force that powers the Sun, the stars, and
hydrogen bombs, merging
the nuclei of atoms rather than splitting them apart, as nuclear reactors do.

B表伴随动作、状态、功能，与句子谓语动作同时发生，逻辑主语=句子主语

OG10-163. Found
throughout Central and South America, the
sloth hangs from trees by its long rubbery limbs, sleeping fifteen hours a day and moving so
infrequently that two species of algae grow on its coat and between its
toes.

2. 分词前没有逗号即  主句+ing 分词短语

   A 分词做定语，优先就近修饰前面的名词

OG109 : Legislation in the Canadian province of Ontario requires of
both public and private employers that pay be the same for jobs historically
held by women as for jobs requiring comparable skill that are
usually held by men.

四、介词或介短+--ing分词
        （介短：in addition to/in/by/without/besides+doing….+句子）

    1. 在句首，逻辑主语=句子主语

  OG47 By providing
such services as mortgages, home improvement loans, automobileloans, and financial advice, and staying
within the metropolitan areas, Acme Bank has become
one of the most profitable savings banks in the nation.
