Hello there! Dont be confused, I can make everything very easy for you to understand. That is what I do best! : )
The answer to your question is that no, you do NOT need to retake the GMAT to be considered for a top ten program. Will you get into a top five program? No. Will you get into a top ten program? Maybe yes. Your score is good enough to get into a top ten program for sure. So relax!
However, what are the chances that you could raise your score? If you think with certainty that you could do better, then you absoluetly should try to do so. You have very little to lose. The 730 is good, but the 760 is better! If you believe that you have a VERY good shot at raising your score, you should try. After all, with a 760, you have a shot at both top ten schools, AND top FIVE schools.
Hope this helps! If you are comfortable in a top ten program but not a top five program, 730 is fine. If you want a top five program, retake the test.
See? Nice and easy! |
