From the industry, the school is also a good choice for those who want to focus on healthcare & phama industry.
- Internship Seeking Not good till now, none of the students from mainland China get internship opportunities. However, we are still seeking, and from 2nd year students's experience, 100% of them get internship in the summer vacation, and may internship postings come before summer vacation
- Chinese Alumni/Graduates Most of the alumni are in finance, while the others are doing marketing in industry - Financial aid Generally most of the admitted students may get some scholarship as tuition waive, average 25%, and this year the scholarship will rise even more to attract outstanding students. There may some part-time intern opportunities in the 2nd year, but very rare. I would suggest you have enough money if really choose to study here.
- Life in Rochester There are a lot of snow from Oct to Mar, but not very cold, just similar to Beijing. Life is a little bit boring, but good place if you want to focus on study and learning. It's very safe on campus, university of Rochester has a large coverage in the city. Living expense is very low, roughly $500-$700 per month.
