270 - "revised" - see below

267 - need context to understand whether it means the same with or w/o 'even'

265 - search and you will find that a lot of NN have discussed this. by which(process) it's understood -

My question again:
270.  why can't we use a sentence after "for"?  For example, the following sentence is correct: she remained silent, for her heart was heavy and her spirits low.

because, for, since和as

因此,在回答why的提问时或原句有just, only, not…but all等副词强调原因时必须用because.

He isn't here today because he is ill.

He must be ill, for he isn't here.

since的语气比because弱,但比as强。

Since he was busy, he didn't come.

As I have a day off today, I'll write to you.

It must have rained, since the ground is wet.

有点微妙,sorry for my wrong answer last time

262. 固定搭配 at pole or equator

267. even as 意思是“正如”。

一般用because,in that。
