答案是D但D 中的their指代谁呢，an automobile manufacturer是singular noun。

这道题我原意不懂，但是having....在GMAT中不是不好的表达么？所以我直接排除e,d,然后选的a。

D中，with their odometers disconnected是一个独立结构做状语修饰having cars；AB中的with结构修饰不明确；且that be+adj这个结构不好，所以E错。
