this status would not be changed until some one to two weeks before the mentioned deadline when some lucky ones may get their final decisions earlier than the deadline. I applied for the 1 round and the decision deadline was Jan. 23, I got mine (waitlist ) on Jan. 15. Hope this is helpful and good luck to all of us!
