they可能指babies。不会有歧义，over the age of thirty 和 under it对应。robertchu的解释是正确的。

上次考试碰到了这题，我选了A，但好象记得后面紧接着出了两道语法题，不知是不是答案A有误？表示怀疑。但我也找不出比A更好的答案了。
