答案是C。但是作这类修饰结构的改错时，总觉得没有明显错误特征，所以无从下手。请教大家如何解答这类题目。

我要在这里问一个问题，关于OG11对于E选项的解释，'them' can't refer to book illustrations because the plural noun is the object of the preposition 'in'; the relationships amoung the parts of the sentence are unclear.为什么them不能指代作为in宾语的book illustrations呢？

谈谈个人看法，我觉得从逻辑上来理解，如果前面是in her book illustrations，后面的这个them读起来感觉是指book illustrations里面的某些东西（不知道是什么东西),所以og觉得指代有问题。

前面的in。。。是介宾结构的一个状语，作为修饰语的某一部分的成分应该是不能在句子中被其他成分引用的吧？
