I don't consider myself as having a strong background. I was rejected by columbia without even an interview. :p But here it is:

Bachelor in Computer Science (Indiana University) Low GPA

Programmer at the Chem department for a year (1yr)

Foreign Affairs Officer at a Chinese company (1yr)

CEO's assistant at a Nasdaq listed Chinese American high tech company (1yr)

PwC Event coordinator contract (6 months)

Entrepreneur (2 yr) advertising & marketing

On the side, I organized small scale events and freelanced in high-profile event organization
