我来尝试回答一下。

a中in that这个词组og中是摒弃的，因为已经过时了。但是在prep里确实有以in that作为正确选项的。另外lz能不能说说为什么for作为因为会不严谨？我觉得不会。in that和for因该没有明确的取舍，问题在festival's month这儿。

b选项的proclaiming确实是修饰错误，逻辑主语成了Olympic Games。改变原意。而且没有了原句表因果的意思。

c中they指代不好。

e首先是动词变成了动名词，that向前指代“a sacred truth”还是明确的，但是后面的for the month of the festival就不知所云了。

同意ls的,n+n+that照白勇的说法是根据意思判断that修饰前面的that还是后面的that。

n+n的结构修饰不明的应该是n+n+adj或者n+n+介词短语。
