After Enron, most business schools took pain to enforce business ethics and integrity. Some schools even ask those admitted to pay the fee for employment verification (like in my case). I think you should be honest. If you take many short-cuts like this one, one day you will fall and pay for it dearly.

Be really careful about lieing in the states, specially when you are working here. You may risk too much. If found you will have trouble applying MBA in the future. You are young and it does not matter waiting one more year. And don't rely too much on the others to fix the hole for you. just my 2 cents.
