搜索了前人的帖子，但是没找到有人问过相关问题，肯能是我太弱了，呵呵。

我搞不清楚and merges 是与谁并列的。如果与主句的is并列那是肯定的错的，与定语从句的谓语powers并列吗？感觉这个也是错的的呀？  与powers并列不也相当于 句子＋逗号and 谓语吗？与前者的错误是一样的呀。请问什么情况下使用 逗号and  谓语 ？想了好久也没明白，请教！！

我想这里是merges与powers平行. Nuclear fusion is the force that powers A,B,and C, and merges D...

and merges前加逗号,是因为在powers 和 merges之间有A,B和C将它们隔开.所以需要加个逗号.如果,没有A,B和C的话,是无须加逗号的.

但是如果是和power并列的话， 那不就成了 force merges the nuclei of atoms, 但是应该是Nuclear fusion 来merge比较说的通吧

为什么不能使 force that A (powers ....), and B (merges ...)? 不明白为什么merge 和 powers不能平行，共同修饰force?
