我觉得理解并不限于缺点，提高。一般的领域，只要你进步很多的，也是可以写的，比如teamwork, leadership, communication skills等。

Kellogg有一个相同的问题：

同时，他们还问了一个问题：

是指过去的提高吧，貌似In which areas could the applicant exhibit growth or improvement? 指的是未来的提高我感觉~~
