郁闷，没有waive the right to examine recommendation会有负面影响吗？

我也不知道当时怎么想的，可能想既然有这个权利我为什么要waive，还有也有点好奇recommendation会是什么样，所以就选了不waive，可今天有人说可能会造成负面影响，是这样的吗？我的recommender可没给我看他们写得recommendation，另外即使我想看现在也不知道从哪里找出来看，我都觉得我冤死了，又没看着还没waive 这个right, 早知道就直接waive了算了。想想都快睡不着觉了

过去的事情过于担心没有太大意义, 再说感觉美国人很讲rights, 既然有你有这个权利, exercise一下不能说是不妥.

Don't worry. You are entitled to the right. I don't think the Adcom will think bad of you because you excercise the right they/the Law grant you.

不会有负面影响，美国人认为这是你的权利，而且推荐信也是在你提交了所有的申请之后才给你看的

hehe,老贴了，不过忍不住说一句，我朋友在美国这边读书，她的导师说了，不waive right的推荐信他们一般不重视的，因为推荐人有压力，往往写得不真实，呵呵，给后来人提醒一下
