Controversial arises when it comes to the issue that whether a pet should be treated like a family member or not. There who support the idea that pets just pets and never be like a human being, argue that pets should be treated like as animal. While, the other who oppose to it, on the other hand, mention that pets are best friends of human being, and should be treated like a family member. As far as I am concerned, I do deem to choose the idea that pets should be treated like family member. There are several reasons as follows:

Among the reasons is firstly that hardly could anyone refuse the merit with the benefits that the pets bring to us, such as just go along with you for ever, and have a fun to go out have a play, and stay besides you every meal. For illustration instance, we need to look no further than that for an old couple who have no children with them, what a nice thing that they can raise a pet instead? A pet can bring more happiness and spent a lot meaningless time for the old people. It isn't we necessary that every person who loves animal to have a pet? Should we have a pet, we could stand a chance of a really cozy and happy life with us.

What is more, usually, the family which has a pet must have a person like animal very much. For this kind of person, it is nothing wrong that pets should be like a family member. The people who do not like a pet will never have a chance to raise or meet a pet in their home, so they do not need to choose whether this is a problem or not, all the question just suit for the people who involved in it, that is to say, you must have a pet first, then you will have chance to express the idea. So, there is no problem for the issue.

Last but not least, treat pets like other animal such as the pig, chicken, and cow, will not seems common to all the family which have pet inside. It is never happens some raise cat just for eat their meat, and they may not suitable for eat some how.

It is true that every coin has two sides, even we thought that pets should be like a family member, however, it may should not be treat as a person, for example, we can not let dog eating food on the desk even you like it every much. After all, it is not a person and what is more, not all the person like it.

So, to sum up, it is likely that people will never arrive at this controversial problem due to they share different experience and conflicting personal. What is more, there still many aspects, which, unfortunately, I have no enough time to explore here today. Nevertheless, take into account all the reasons above mentioned, we can, effortlessly, come up with the idea that to treat a pet like a family member really bring a lot of good to all of us, we, the community, the pets in the world.
