这回可以看出证明父母是最好的老师吗?我都有点糊涂了,觉得好难证明啊。 感谢。
People receive education through many channels, say, parents at home, teachers from school, books, TV media, friends and so on. To some extent, all these listed above are our teachers. Among these teachers in one’s life, one may ask who probably exerts the biggest influence on children’s education? I think that for most people, parents are best teachers.
For one thing, parents have the patience no other kinds of teachers would have. When a child is born, he/she begins to receive education from his parents. Being the first teachers of one's life, parents teach him/her how to walk, how to speak, and how to behave, during which devoted patience must be present. Sometimes by observing his/her parents' behaviors, the child can mimic and learn. But in more cases parents have to teach them many times before he/she can master those simple skills. For example, parents may give instructions of how to thank others repetitively until the child can naturally say “thank you” when others do some favor for him/her. These kinds of social behaviors are crucial to his/her future life, and are mainly taught by parents’ patiently. However, when we count the function of teachers, we often neglect this education process, which is too natural to be noticed.
For another thing, even after one attending school, parents are still best teachers because they offer enough care and attention which school teachers often fail to. Equipped with specific knowledge, teachers at school are able to guide him/her to investigate upon certain subject, like math, music, language etc. But being obliged to take care of many students at the same time, those teachers find it hard to pay special attention to each student. However, as human nature, every child attempts to obtain enough attention. Being noticed encourages them to make progress, to achieve self-improvement, to correct faults. How can every student be satisfied while the teachers cannot achieve that? The answer is turning to parents. In fact, parents always fulfill the student’s need of being noticed, and encourage him/her to be better, in study and in being a human. In the sense of offering peerless care and attention one wants, parents are best teachers.
So, although a person will have many teachers in life, for most people, their best teachers are their parents. Parents may not be professional teachers but they are predominantly helpful, both before and after one attending school. |
