第三篇 coopers 采访实录

我想看了我以上的背景，可能谁也不会想到，在我
所有申请的学校中，我只是被保底的学校Olin 录取了。这也是我当初绝对没有想到的一个结果，

好像后面没有解释这里埋下的伏笔，能不能略微谈谈为什么出现这种情形呢？背景这么强，相信多数人都达不到coopers的条件呢。。。

One more thought: he didn't pay enough attention when picking up schools. The schools dinged him are not favor older applicants.

从访谈的记录来看，coopers对essay还是下了一番功夫的。一般人很难有他如此优越的写essay的条件。
还有什么办法把essay写得更好吗？
我觉得我写的很努力，但结果还是差强人意。

His English writing skill might be very strong, but since he didn't do enough research on those schools, his strength didn't use on the target.

Another reason I guess was: after working in big 4 as a manager, he had couple of short period stay in some industry companies, which made his career progress unclear. Thus adcom might doubt whether he was sure about his career goal or not.
