推荐信的日期重要吗？

仔细读过CD里的帖子，真的是一个很好的论坛：）

可能我的问题没有什么代表性，可是还是急切希望过来人予以帮助：
——如果我现在以陪伴的身份出去，可能申请的是一年甚至两年以后的入学，可是我想推荐信这些事还是在出国之前先办好比较方便，请问大侠们，推荐人现在写的推荐信，一两年后用好不好呢？我可不可以请推荐人现在写信时不要加日期落款呢？

One or two years seem a little bit too much. If your targeted school requires online submit, you don't have any problem. If you plan to submit paper letter, you may have to get the letter when you apply. It is not good to simply leave the date until you apply. Except the letter, usually your recommender needs to fill out a form and put the form with the letter in an envelop, then seal it and sign across it. He/she has to put the date on the form. So if he leaves the date, he cannot seal the envelop and sign across it now.
