$1 million gift for Ivey PHD Scholarships

这个奖学金咱是拿不到了，给后来的xdjm吧。据我所知，除了Harvard的Ph.D.项目前两年拿到了25million的捐助，专门捐助商学院Ph.D.的奖学金还真是不多。算是给Ivey做个广告吧。

Dear Ivey Community:

It is with great pride and satisfaction that I announce, on behalf of Dean Carol Stephenson and myself, the generous gift of $1 million from Bill and Anne Brock to the Richard Ivey School of Business.

This spectacular gift will establish the Brock Scholarship Fund, expending $45,000 per year in PHD scholarships and providing Ivey with the ability to attract and recruit the best and brightest PHD candidates.

Commencing immediately, Ivey will award two Brock Scholarships each year.  Each scholarship will be for $25,000 per year up to a maximum of four years, for a total of $100,000, with the Business School matching to support these amounts.  Potentially, there will be up to eight Brock scholars at any one time once the programme has been fully implemented.

Three years ago, the School made a strategic decision to increase the number of students in our doctoral program and this gift will help to provide the stable and long-term funding necessary to support our PHD program.
