请教monthly information session

请问有经验的GGJJDDMM：我人在北美，学校的monthly information session是不是有必要去参加，去了以后都应该些什么问题呢？有的说是campus tour应该都是一样的东东吧。还有admission Chat 一般都问一些什么问题呢？

You don't have to say anything. It's perfectly okay to go, listen and learn. If you do, you can start by asking relevant questions about the school to show your interest.

Oh there should be alums at the information session. See if you can get their contact information and then follow-up if you have questions later.

No. Information session generally involves a lot of talk about their programs and Q&A. Campus tour allows you to see the facilities and sometimes interact with the students or sit in the classes. It'll give you a much better perspective.
