这题A和C 有区别呢？“Originally developed for detecting air pollutants”和“A technique originally developed for detecting air pollutants”有什么差别呢？做题的时候怎么判断什么时候该选哪个？

第一题，A是目的状语，C是定语。应该选哪个具体题目有不同的情况。此题中C错主要是因为CALLED分词短语位置不对。

第二题，如果选B，冰河期的形成是在when之前的，when 表示的时间才是从句的时间，用过去完成说明在从句的时间之前，就是age之前。

第一道题之所以选A不选C是因为，C选项的which指代混乱ambiguity~~~

又是楼主，呵呵。

第一题，A想看一遍没什么明显错误，搁置。
B错误是名词Originally developed for detecting air pollutants的悬挂，错！
C错误在于定语从句前面插入句子，导致修饰对象有争议。
D错误同C。
E同B，A technique悬挂。
这里你怀疑的两种表示方法都不是错误标志。

第二题，A错误是重复，now currently。
B没发现什么问题，搁置。
C，where there were 很罗嗦，而且表示不正确。
D，修饰错，current temperate，不能形容词这样修饰。
E罗嗦， areas now that are temperate应直接用形容词修饰。
对于你担心的时态问题，GMAT通常不作为重点考察，除非存在明显是时间线索和时间先后秩序。

悬挂，就是说挂在那里，不是句子成分。

那为什么第一题的A，Originally developed for detecting air pollutants 就不是悬挂了？B, E 而又是悬挂了呢？还有一个问题，只要句子成份有悬挂就是错的吗？
