能同时申请同一学校的不同program吗?

请问可以同时申请Rotman的MBA和MMPA program 吗??career goals 可以不冲突.只是不知道会不会对录取不利?哪个要求更高?恳请有经验的朋友赐教!

I know a guy who has just been admitted by Yale SOM but is still applying for Yale's JD program.

Many schools provide DUAL degree for MBA and JD. Does Yale have it?

Yes. But seems she is not applying for a joint degree program.

Do both of MBA adcom and JD adcom know about her two applications?

It is interesting. However, if she applied for JD after she was admitted for MBA, that is another issue. It is different from applying for the two at the same time.

但是这两个program并不是不兼容的啊,有的mba pogram可以选两个或以上的concentration,比如accounting和finance,Rotman将两者分成了两个program,所以同时申请应该不冲突吧?它们的gmat送分倒是分开的,不知adcom的人会不会overlap?或者干脆就是同班人马? 困惑啊!这玩意怎么比gmat还难呐!

Of course you can apply both program. Most of the time the admission offices of different program won't share database and no one will have time to check whether you have apply other programs. Think about how many essays they need to read and how many applications they have to deal with in such a short time!

无意冒犯兄弟，不过，我觉得您这样的分析，当事人这样作总是在冒险，特别如果学校明确说过只能申请一个PROGRAM的话。这样的冒险不怎么值得，个人觉得。

MBA的课程强度，没念过的话，真的很难想象。MBA ADCOM当然明白这个。您仔细看看学校的说明，是不是允许同时申请两个，如果没有说不可以，也许能试。个人总是不推荐这样作，增加自己的麻烦嘛不是。。。

MBA在我们学校的老师，基本都是各个ACADEMIC DEPARTMENT中的，比如FINANCE的教授，既是我们ASSOCIATE DEAN, 也是FINANCE DEPARTMENT的教授，是交叉的。如果学校明确说只能申请一个，但是你申请了两个，然后都录取了，可能是挺麻烦的事情。

当然，如果你们学校允许，或者你和系里谈过同时念两个的可能性，那就试好了。

申请中间，我推荐保守点。主意您得自己拿， GOOD LUCK。
