這一題比較很清楚，答案很快就可以被選出。我的疑問是，為什麼這裡要用 ..... for families in which....加上 " in " 的原因是什麼呢? 如果直接寫 .... for families which only husband... 這樣會造成歧義嗎? 煩請NN解惑~ 感激~

想一下which在从句里面做什么成分呢？^_^

families怎么会只有husband 而不是husbands啊?

that for families in which only the husband
            was employed.

理解的意思是（that for） which only the husband in families
                was employed

in families 作为介词短语作定语修饰husband.

另外我的疑问是既然families是个复数名次，为什么还用husband的单数形式，这是不是很矛盾？？？疑惑。。。
