【25 Accounting phd申请】陆本陆硕，还有4个月就要申请了，想咨询下大家北美和港新选校

想申25fall，目前对美国、加拿大的选校目前还是比较迷茫...美国目前我参考的是us news网站的那个排名（前三分别是UT austin、U Penn、UIUC），不知道这个靠不靠谱？

--BG：
陆本陆硕，本硕都是对外经贸会计，gpa3.44（本）&3.8（硕），Tofel 100（27+27+23+23），GRE 320（+ 4.5）

--研究经历：
一段本校的RA，一段港大ap的RA、一段港理工的RA（都只是数据清洗这种dirty work）
一篇working paper（还不懂会怎么署名，应该是自己一作？是自己的idea，导师的数据）

--推荐信：
对外经贸正教授（我导）、港大ap、港理工ap

目前想申请美国排名靠后一些的accounting phd，以及港、新、加的尽可能好的phd（虽然也不指望能够到港三新二...），想咨询大家一些择校/选导的tips、可参考的排名网站之类的，感谢！

How reputable are your undergraduate and Master's institutions? Also, you would need to retake the GRE/GMAT.

The USNEWS ranking is not relevant enough unless one is applying for undergraduate admission.

Not that reputable overseas, though quite famous nationally.
Thank you and I would consider retaking the GMAT however I am current busy working on a paper.
So what ranking would you recommend for accounting phd program?

The percentile of your current scores is around the 80th, which is lackluster. Aim for the 90th or above!

I would focus my time and effort on standardized exams rather than papers which do not take center stage at all in the application process.

Until you have taken/retaken the exams, I would recommend that you target Tier 5 in our Business Ph.D. Program Placement Ranking.

phd申请，说到底是中国人打中国人，你的profile在中国人里肯定后20%
稍微有点名气的accounting PhD program，哪怕地理位置不那么喜人，like 我们大美中的Missouri，Iowa，Nebraska你估计连机器筛选都过不了

Given the profiles of your undergraduate and Master's institutions, the success of your application effort will hinge upon the results of your GRE/GMAT.
