1.你的英语水平怎么样

I like English very much from very young. Ialso learnt a bit French a few years ago. And in the preparation for theapplying to postgraduate university, the TOEFL exam and the GAMT exam help meimprove my English on four aspects, listening, speaking, writing and reading.What is more, the internship experience in San Francisco helped my English. Asthe working language is English, I had a lot of chances to practice.

My name is ZZR, you can call me Stacy. Icome from HIT, major in accounting. I am easy-going for life and hard-workingfor my study and work. I am also a good planner myself. During the first twoyears of my university life, I spent most of my spare time on the activities.For example, as I am good at singing in a professional way, I took part in alot of singing performances and competitions. At the same time, I organized someactivities too, which help me improve my leadership ability. From last year, Istarted to make preparation for my applying issue. I got higher scores in mymajor, participated entrepreneurship competition, and caught more chances forinternships. 3.为什么选择本科专业

I believe that accounting is the essentialtool used when a company works. From the financial statements and the balancesheets, we can make important decisions. I was impressed when I saw a TV dramaprogram. In the series, a lady who has the abroad studying experience investedmany small companies and became famous all around the world. Although she mayknow financial well, she must know the accounting things better. I want to bethe person who can study deep about the cash flow and the company management.

Although accountants just take care of the books and manage the cash flow,we can help a lot on the decisions made by the executive managers. 5对即将申请的专业的认识

International Accounting is a new areadeveloped as the economy in the world becomes more and more globalize. All overthe world, there are different kinds of definitions about internationalaccounting. Some scholars says that international accounting is the major tobuild better accounting standards for the international markets. And otherssupport that it is developed for the multinational enterprises. So thedifferent ideas become different kinds of international accounting. Afterseeing the courses of City University of Hong Kong, I know that this major isto help the students to deal with the international accounting issues. That isvery suitable nowadays. So I like this major very much. It is very special too,because you know other universities don’t have this major.

6.职业规划career goal逻辑理清楚

I will first spend one or two years in HK.After the graduation, I will try to come into an multinational company to startmy first job. During my job, I will obtain some entrepreneur experience andwill take exams for the accounting certificates, AICPA, ACCA and so on. Afterowning these certificates, I may start my own company or be an executivemanager.

I plan to focus my short-term careerworking as a consultant in international firms, focused on promoting business development.Once I have obtained 3-5 years' consulting working experience, I want tocontinue my career in China, by competing for management positions atstate-owned enterprises and obtain some essential accounting certificates. I amcertain that with the professional education from the University of Hong Kong,I will have a great advantage in the accounting field, allowing me to be anideal candidate for management positions in the future. With world famousreputation, the University of Hong Kong owns advanced education resources andteaching concepts, and in particular, the blending of hands-on practicalapplication with theoretical knowledge is appealing to me. 7．实习里经历了什么 有什么收获

I worked in a travel website company. As anEditorial Intern, I wrote some articles about the important site seeing in SanFrancisco, Los Angeles and Las Vegas. The head manager of the editorialdepartment teached me with the job. While I was searching the Internet to findthe place to write, I also found the convenience of the American web. For example,Yelp, a platform to share the good shopping places and good restaurants, is angood network. If I have the chance to develop my own company like this, I mayimprove the Chinese website. Besides, I was also an accounting intern. It is alittle difficult for me to know the accounting issues in English. So I decidedto go further study for one year or two in the university.

I have applied 5 universities in Hong Kong.But this is my first interview. And I like this university and its major best.

9.为什么喜欢国际会计这个专业？(根据自己专业来查资料，发展前景什么的)

First, it is a new major and it has a greatdemand for international accountants not only in China but overseas. I alwayslike to find bigger areas for me to improve.

10.大学感兴趣的课程

I am interested in managerial accountingvery much. First, it is useful. For example, in an entrepreneur competition,making financial budget is the first thing to do. Given the cost, the price,the market estimate, and some other elements, we can get the final balancesheets. Using these, we can make big decisions and get started to our business.I took part in an entrepreneurship competition last year with the help of thiscourse.

11.优缺点

I have a good memory, especially fornumbers. In my life if you cannot remember the flight, the room numbers ofseveral friends, or the numbers in the balance sheet, I may be the person whocan easily remember them. And I am a good planner and am a goal-orientedperson. You can know this from the planning in the four-year university life.The disadvantage is that I don’t want to be a leader. During the four years, I hadmany opportunities to be a leader of a group. But I gave up because I think beinga leader is so annoying and I must deal with different people to get the goal.So I would rather to be a good member in the team. However, I decided to changethis situation when I go further study. I must get the courage to be a leaderto improve my ability. That is important.

13.为什么想来城市大学？？十分想去这个学校

The first reason is that the businessschool of CUHK is one of the first schools that obtain the authentication ofAACSB. I believe the excellent education resources can give me a better startin my future career.

Second, I think the international accountinghas a brighter future among most of the business majors. As there are more andmore multinational companies, the accountants who know international accountingbetter can find a good position in the society.

14.我的家庭介绍

My parents were both teachers. But mymother started a store about beauty. When she wants to enlarge the size of the storeor even lets it become a chain company, she realizes the importance offinancial management. So she hopes that I can learn accounting well and help herin the future.

I am the only child in my family. Myparents always give me the best they have, so I must work hard to get a betterfuture to give them the best I have.

15,平时的爱好和娱乐活动

About hobbies, I really have many. I like singing,calligraphy, painting and swimming. I love life more with these hobbies. Forexample, calligraphy lets me become calm and tolerant. And for singing, I am avocal singing student and always go to KTV to enjoy singing with my friends.

During my spare time, I like reading booksand exchange ideas with my best friend. Besides, if I have a short holiday, Iwill go traveling with a small group of my friends or just one. Enjoying the beautifulscenery, we care about the local life, history and the delicious food and theculture more.
