Recengtly there is a debate over whether it is realistic to expect individual nations to make contribution to the energy.Some people assert that individual should be responsible for the conservation of the energy,while other people believe that the leadership and worldwide cooperation are essential to protect the energy resources from being exhousted .As a matter of fact,the issue of what is more essential and realistic for the conservation of the energy is a complex and controversial one.Different people hould different views due to their distinct backgrouds.Therefore,there is not a universal answer to this question,and whether one choice take precedence over the other may qutite depend on the specific situation.The decision,nevertheless,is not an easy one to make.Actually ,the final judgment should rely on a case-by-case analysis.As far as I am concerned,however,I agree that not only the individual nations but also the leadership and the worldwide cooperation are esential for the conservation of the energy.My view can be greatly substantiated by the following discussions.
The first argument that can be presented to develop my position is that individual nations ,like people ,will act according to their own short-term motives and self-interest.We can suppose that the competetitions among nations are really hard,resulting in the ranks all over the world. Sacrificing its own benefits for the conservation of resources is not the best way for a nation to compete with others.It is also hardly possible to make a country sacrifice its own benefits for others ' benefits.We all know that the rate of comsumption of the resources is really fast ,and the faster the rate of comsumption of the recources,the more quikly the resources can be use out.However,it is almost impossible for any nation to stop consume any resources to protect the resources all over the world.Under the circumstance,it is obvious that the insufficiency of the energy can not be solved just under the hard work made by a nation.
In addition,there is another reason for me to choose this statement.The reason is not far to seek that the international leadership and worldwide cooperation are also essential.Even thoug a nation would likely to sacrifice its own benefits for the world benefits, whether a nation can do this well is not a certainty.A nation has its own destination ,such as increase the standard of people's livings and make good environment for its residents.However,a nation will have to consume the resource to do so.Therefore,to protect the energy resources,it is not realistic for a individual nation to make such sacrifice.Thus ,another two equally important aspects are that the international leadership and the worldwide cooperation.
Adimittedly,it may be true that every nation should make contribution to the conservation of the energy .However,this alone does not constitute a sufficient support to claim that the necessity that every nation should make contribution equally mean that just one nation do so.Actually,there should be a international regulation that all the nations could comply with.Under the same international regulation,after a nation carefully examined the advantages and disadvantages of the conservation of energy, the most striking conclusion is that any nation can contribute to conserve energy according to its own behalf.
To sum up ,due to the above mentioned reasons,which sometimes correlate with each other to generate an integrade whole and thus become more convincing than any single one of them,we may be comfortable to say that not only the individual nations but also the leadership and the worldwide cooperation are esential for the conservation of the energy,because neither one can not be sufficient for the conservation of energy ,even not mention to protect the world's energy resources for further generations.
