【邮件分享】Bentley University本特利大学

混CD很久，也混了各种学校的Q群和微信群，发现其实很多大家问的问题，前人都是问过的，尤其是和学校打交道的问题，比如问学校项目是几年（如果官网上没写），官网要求托福100的，没到100能不能申，还有orientation日期（方便订票）这一类，或者还有其他一些关于项目和签证的问题。大家获取此类信息最官方的就是和小米/国际生处等发邮件了，不过发邮件要等回复么不是，所以就想建立这么个帖子，大家把以前和学校发过的邮件分享出来（隐私信息可以**打码），以后需要的同学直接到帖子里来搜索关键词就好了~其实不费什么功夫，而且方便他人（听说这叫做回馈CD）。

那就从我决定去的Bentley开始发吧，和这个学校的小秘沟通还是不少的。

I am interested in the MA Program of Bentley and I have some questions.

Is this program a 1-year or 2-year program? If it only covers one year, can I finish it in 18 months or 2 years?
What is the minimum TOEFL score for admission?
Does this program offer an internship or a CPT for international students.

Thank you very much for your email and your interest in Bentley University Graduate School of Business. The MSA Program is a Full-Time 2 year program. Our minimum TOEFL requirement is 100. Our Career Services assist you in giving you the resources for you to find an internship that you can do with a CPT. You can get more information on that from our Graduate Student Academic Services, Center for International Students and Scholars, and Career Services.

I only have a TOEFL score of 96 (reading 29, listening 20, speaking 22, writing 25). Does this mean I have NO chance to be admitted to Bentley?

[size=14.6666669845581px]Starting this year we decided to allow students to apply if their TOEFL is not meeting the minimum of 100. We do, however, offer a Cultural Transition Program of 3 weeks prior to the start date of the Fall Term to the students who do not meet the minimum TOEFL requirement. Once you submit all of your required documents to your application we will review it and then make a decision based on everything you provide us.

In the Foundation Course part, the status of all 5 courses is Not Satisfied. Does this mean I need to take all these 5 courses before or during my program? I was major in accounting in my undergraduate education and I have already taken Statistics, Microeconomics and Macroeconomics, Basic Accounting, Financial Accounting, Advanced Accounting, Cost Accounting and Managerial Accounting, and Finance courses in my undergraduate study. These courses are listed on my official transcripts and I got good score on them.

I understand where you are coming from. The waivers/substitutions rule indicates on our website that your academic institution firstly should be accredited either by AACSB or EQUIS. Unfortunately, your university is not accredited by neither of those academic groups so we can’t waive/substitute any courses. http://www.bentley.edu/graduate/admission-financial-aid/application-process

Thank you very much for your email. Our Graduate School Orientation will be during August 26th, 27th and 28th and then on Monday, August 31st. The Graduate Student Academic Services will contact every student around June regarding the orientation.
