I tend to believe what the school say about the rejection reason indeed........
since the most common way (and the laziest way) is: "Thanks very much for you application, and you are a good applicant, but really sorry that competition is fierce and we don't have enough place to admit you."
This kind of reason are applicable to anyone, and they don't have to tailor make and reply it one by one.
P.S. if you are applying to GE program in France, age matters.

well, if you are going to fight for the more quantitative job, they just speak mathematics (i.e. "greeks" and English), then language is not a problem, but "纯金融工程靠以前的基础怕是读完很艰难".........
P.S. 得罪點說, 如果纯金融工程跟不上, 你能讀得有多量化? business school level的"FE", 自己找書看都行, 何必full-time 呢?
