数次因为年龄申硕士被拒，我还能怎么办？

本科毕业已经很多年，之后一直在金融行业工作，现在想去读一个偏量化的金融硕士，已经两次被学校拒，问原因就是年龄太大（31）；考虑到我工作从事的方向，读mba没什么实际用处，学偏技术的有直接帮助。有碰到类似情况的同学来说说吗？背景：本科是985，工科，gmat730，裸考ielts6.5（准备再刷）

是啊，难道他们担心统计数据不好看所以据大龄申请人？请教下还有曲线救国路线吗

想學偏量化的直接去理/工學院的financial mathematics / financial engineering.

business school教technical很多時候都是半桶水; network的話估計你又不會有興趣去和一堆fresh grad network (也沒有用)

P.S. 雖則我估計不錄取你多數和年齡無關.....

不知道他们的说话习惯，如果表达委婉的话有可能还有其他原因，不过如果直接说gpa不够什么的反而更容易让人接受

I tend to believe what the school say about the rejection reason indeed........

since the most common way (and the laziest way) is: "Thanks very much for you application, and you are a good applicant, but really sorry that competition is fierce and we don't have enough place to admit you."

This kind of reason are applicable to anyone, and they don't have to tailor make and reply it one by one.

P.S. if you are applying to GE program in France, age matters.

官方拒信倒是这种套话，发邮件问了他们才如此回复。我申的都是偏硬的金融专业，如果直接申纯金融工程靠以前的基础怕是读完很艰难。

GE太多管理营销类课程，对我来说既没用也耗不起。所以各方面都处于很尴尬的境地。

请问下如果已经有几年prop shop交易经验，欧洲找BB层次的工作学校牌子是否不那么重要了，如果那样的话cass或emlyon也可以尝试一下

well, if you are going to fight for the more quantitative job, they just speak mathematics (i.e. "greeks" and English), then language is not a problem, but "纯金融工程靠以前的基础怕是读完很艰难".........

P.S. 得罪點說, 如果纯金融工程跟不上, 你能讀得有多量化? business school level的"FE", 自己找書看都行, 何必full-time 呢?
