同意楼上，如果只有“一个”拼写错误，我觉得不必这样大费周章了。放宽心，看essay的人并不会把注意力集中在单词拼写上的。

BTW，申请材料可以取消，然后重发么？不知道在技术上是否可行。

我的问题是：如果我没有交齐了材料，在我点了提交键以后，是不是系统就会显示我什么没有提交，什么提交了。那么我在补交我没有提交的可以么？

因为如果这样可行，我现在就可以点一下提交，然后就可以早点知道我什么没有交（尤其是成绩，需要时间来补救的），免得过了截止日期才知道，被推后到下一轮了。

Thanks.  I should not say "typo".  It is a wrong wording, wrong usage.   Although both have positive meaning, the one I typed  had a funny meaning in the short cover letter, which I worte quickly at lunch time and did not give a second glance before I sent out.  Sometimes I am just overconfident.

Here is my plan:  I will not submit another package. Instead, I will submit another optional material to the committee along with another short letter in which I will rewrite that sentence, demonstrating that I know the correct usage of the word.  How does that sound? Gosh, I would have never been worried about such a minor thing if I were applying for a Ph.D in a Science major.
