I might be able to help you more if you have a more specific question.
If you are going to apply for PhD during or after your MBA, I advise you to get familiar with a few professors for whom you can ask references. You might also want to learn a few research topics/papers related to your future research interests.
In any case, two of Purdue professors conduct research related to entrepreneurs.

1) I heard from a prof. in your shool that around 20-30 students will apply each year and 2-3 will be admitted, is it true?
2) Purdue Strategy is quite econ oriented, and real option theory is preferred, so are many courses on maths required?
3) What is the average of GMAT and Toefl, and do they like Chinese students? And Do they already have some "aiming" students?
