Hi, I read your posting and I think we have very similar experiences and qualifications. I hope this message helps. I graduated from a less prestigious college in 2010 and got in the Global MT program in a hotel company for approximately 3.5 years, followed by a start-up experience for another 1.5 years. I'm studying full-time MBA in the US now.
I can see your interest in entrepreneurship or general management but I'm not quite sure why you are thinking about Canada (no offense). You certainly has the qualification and potential for a US MBA which would give you much better environment and resources in entrepreneurship. I encourage you to consider US.
Let me know if you'd like to talk more, I would love to help answer any question about the applications.
Hello there!
So I think that for Canada, you can actually be eligible for Top schools as they tend to be less competitive than US schools - so schools like Rotman, McGills, Ivery, HEC Montreal. And these are all schools that are better ranked than Waterloo. I’d suggest you make your applications to 5-6 of the top schools, and see what happens!
