从语意上看，我觉得应该选E。GWD给的答案是A，that从句修饰progress，我觉得是修饰devastation and enslavement这种跳跃修饰。大牛们怎么看啊？

主语Christopher Columbus，谓语 has come to personify,宾语devastation and enslavement
B by which 是怎么BY 的，总得有个动词加by 吧，那个定从里没有动词宾语，哪来的by

C 名词为什么要变成动名词啊，更何况后面一长串的结构如此之混乱。which指谁啊，those是干嘛的

D 和C一样
E progress that have！！！ progress 是单数好不好，要用也得用has 啊

在做语法题得时候，记住一点，每个选项之间的差异点才是考点，差异是很容易看出来的，所以一比较就知道谁对谁错
