In ordinary daily life, there is always a controversial question: doing work by hand or by using machines, which one do you prefer? Some people like production that made by hands because they think hands is the best tools; while others may believe that machines is better. From my point of view, I would like to prefer productions made by using machines. Among countless reasons that influence my choice, there are three several important reasons listed as follow.
The most vital reason that can be seen by everybody easily is machines can produce low cost productions. Usually, using machine can achieve mass production and offer very cheap and constant outcome. To illustrate this, there is a very persuasive example. Clock or watch, used to be very expensive before earlier of 19 century. However, since it can be fabricate by machines, the price was becoming more and more cheap. Nowadays, some electronic watches could be as low as a kilogram of apple. Therefore, machines, because of its often involvement of high technology, can produce very low cost productions. In summary, even though there are many concerns about the controversy, in my part, I can say that the critical reason is by using machines we can expense less money.
Low cost is only the part of the most important reason; another equal significance reason is more durable and high performance productions can be fabricated by using machines. As we can see, unlike our hands, machine always keep its constant operation status and never tired or sleepy. As a result, the production make by machine usually means high quality and durability. One can aware that a watch made by hand usually not as precision as made by machine. So, as far as I concerned, I agree that the machine can make better productions.
As a saying goes, everything has two sides. The disadvantage of production made by using machines is usually not beautiful. However, we can ignore this point since nowadays the machine also can make decorative and beautiful works. Also, I admit that works made by hands also have several benefits, however I feel that disadvantages is more obvious, such as time consumable, and low efficiency.
If all the factors above are considered, we will find out that the advantage of using machine can outweigh its disadvantage. Consequently, we can safely come to the conclusion that using machine to produce production is a better way than by using hands.
