fresh Ph.D. for MBA

I will be receiving my Ph.D. in Chemistry from a top 20 University in 1 year and I am seriously thinking about getting into MBA program for next year.
What has bothered me a lot is that I have had no work experience. I talked to some B-schools and know some consider work experience as a Must while others consider Ph.D. as a big plus.

I know I can work hard on the essays and interviews and GMAT but I just do not think how I can get reasonable recommendation letters, as all the professors I know only know about my research but not my business prospects.

I am seeking for suggestions from folks with the similiar experience.

buddy, I suggest you wait until gaining some experience. I also have got the PhD just now and own two years' experience before. But I think based on my background, it will still be tough to get into a TOP MBA program. So I suggest you work first, and then after three years' working, try to pursue an MBA. In addition, I think without experience, MBA can bring you nothing
