這題真怪... 我覺得這些答案選項應該是原因而不是consequence啊...

不過anyway, 我的理解是, 選A的話, 我覺得MM的思路可能是: 如果backwards messages不夠大聲的話, 也就不會造成危害了; 可是看看D, 就算這些message夠大聲, 可是假如聽的人根本不懂它在講什麼, 也還是不會被影響到啊 (if such messages must be comprehended to exert influence...)

題目說聽音樂的人容易被backwards messages影響, 跟music 本身的quality或是 performance都沒關係啊? B是無關選項吧...?!

D, 我覺得它的意思是說, 這些backwards messages必須要能讓人理解才會對聽音樂的人造成影響, 因此聽音樂的人一定可以理解這些backwards messages的意思... 言下之意, 假如他們並不理解, 那麼也就不會被影響 (e.g. 我們只會中文&英文, 有人用德文或西班牙文或外星文罵我們而且罵的很難聽, 可是我們一點也不覺得受傷, 因為根本不知他在說什麼...)
