As Cracking the LSAT says, "a pen will be provided at the test center,which must be used (for writeing sample only) to ensure a photocopy of high quality". Is that true?

I do not think so. In fact, it is better to use pencil in order to easily correct the errors

for the whole test, use pencil and pencil only for the answer sheet and writing.
