紧急求助！Wharton Shanghai interview已满怎么办？

昨天刚接到面试通知，今天网上查询上海3月3日和4日的位子都已满了（我在上海工作），以后还可能有吗？

正在申请美国签证，但没可能在3月初拿到签证，所以on campus interview 也不现实！

难道只能到香港去面试或者校友面试吗？但是校友面试应该没有hub interview的效果好吧？！

请问有没有兄弟姐妹遇到过类似情况？有何建议？感激不尽！

you may ask Wharton if you could conduct your interview in Shanghai.

It was said the hub interview conducted by the admissions directors is more important than the one conducted by alumni. The reason is obvious.

I learn that people who conduct the interviews (hub or alumni interviews) will not participate in the final admission discussions of Wharton. so I assume that an alumni interview carries the same weight as does a hub interview。

I also hear that Wharton assigns a rating to each applicant (from 1 to 6). If you are rating 1 or 2, you will have a high chance of admission unless you perform really badly in the interview. Interviews will also be given to those 3 rated candidates, who may need to fight harder in their interview. But so far nobody can confirm that.

I am now waiting for my passport to Hong Kong. If possible, I will select the Hong Kong hub interview on Feb.22.

请教hub是怎么样的面试方式呢？不是一对一吗？没有经验，请指教。。。

I'm afraid it's too short notice for me to get a HK visa...Normally it takes 10 working days, even if it can be shorter, the public holiday makes it hard, if possible, to catch the Feb.21 and 22 interview...

Boli74, have you already got a HK visa? May I know how you managed to work it out within such a short period?

probably alumni. I like alumni interview, though I dont have hub experience.

It's interesting to notice from the Wharton BBS that most US applicants chose alumni interview over on-campus as it's more conversational.  In China, however, we are still a bit concerned alumni may not carry the same weight as the Associate Director...
