其实套用了之前CD上分享的一个模板,因为第一次练作文所以不知道究竟该注意些什么问题。还请大神指点一下~T^T

The reading passage explores the issue thatdinosaurs are probably endotherms. The professor’s lecture deals with the sameissue. However, she thinks that dinosaurs could not be endotherms, preciselythe opposite of what the reading states. To further substantiate her thesis, the professor presents ample explanations.
First, even though the reading passagesuggests that fossils of dinosaurs found in the polar region indicate that onlyif dinosaurs were endotherms could they stand such cold weather, the professorargues in the lecture that there is a possibility for the dinosaurs to live inpolar regions. This is because the weather was warmer than today, which meansit was warm enough for the dinosaur to live. Plus, the dinosaur might migrateto warmer places or hibernate when it was too cold to live there. Evidently, the professor’s argument disproves its counterpart in the reading passages.
Moreover, despite the statement in thereading that dinosaurs’ legs were underneath their bodies to suit movementssuch as running which is quite common among endotherms, the professor contendsthat their leg position is due to other reasons. Then she supports this pointwith the fact that dinosaurs had huge bodies, so they had to develop suchstructure to support their huge weight.
Finally, the professor asserts that thefossils show the presence of the grow rings, through which scientists found thatthe dinosaurs’ growth rate did not keep the same over years but varied with thetemperature’s changes of the living environment. In cold weathers, they grewslowly even stop to grow, instead of growing rapidly all the time according tothe reading which claims that dinosaurs grew rapidly regardless of thetemperature because of the presence of harversian canals in their bonestructure, just as the most endotherms.
In conclusion, the professor clearlyidentifies the weakness of the reading passage by giving more reasonableexplanations, and convincingly reveals that the central argument in the readingthat the dinosaurs were endotherms is inaccurate.
