There is a public debate today that which one is a better choice: live in a traditional house or live in a modern apartment building. Traditional houses mean graceful, warm and vigorous family life while modern apartment buildings mean convenient home life. In my point of view, I prefer to the latter for the following statements.

The first, living in a modern apartment building, we do not have to spend time in cleaning the surroundings every day and make the most use of our time. Just imagine what would be like if living in a traditional house, we should clean up the environment around our house, maybe in the morning or the evening for at least 20 minutes. 20 minutes! We can not catch up with the bus and be late for work, or maybe be late for an important date. Obviously, we should not waste our any minute just for a question about cleaning.

Furthermore, a modern apartment building enables our life more convenient and more complete. There are more utilities available such as swimming pool, accessing internet, sewerage system, cable TV, which has more television channels, and gas supply in modern apartment buildings. So that we can enjoy the convenience that civilization brings to us and can throw ourselves into work more actively.

Last but not in the least, living in a modern apartment building means more chances to associate with people of all sorts, get along with them, and also win a pool of friends, who maybe of special importance for his or her future.

However, many people would prefer to live in a traditional house for the simple reason that it has lots of room and a variety of spaces. But if we can not take advantages of all of them, there rooms and various spaces have no mean to us. When compared with the advantages of living in a modern apartment building mentioned above, I can definitely say that I prefer to live in a modern apartment building.

These 10 minutes may make us not able to catch up with the bus and be late for work, or maybe be late for an important date. Obviously, we should not waste our time just for cleaning.

Furthermore, a modern apartment building enables our life more convenient and more complete. There are more utilities available such as swimming pool, accessible internet, sewerage system, cable TV, which has more television channels, and gas supply in modern apartment buildings. So that we can enjoy the convenience that civilization brings to us and can throw ourselves into work more actively.

Last but not in the least, a modern apartment building always provides safety systems so that we don’t need to worry about that our private property is lost. And this kind of theft events always happens to those traditional houses.
