Hi, my friend!Jon Frank here, happy to help. Some schools say they prefer students with work experience, but few of them specify whether or not you have to gain a minimum of one year on-the-job. If you are currently employed and able to provide some examples of actual projects you’re working on, that would be awesome. No schools will cut you off because you don’t have a full year of experience. That being said, some programsdo require much more experience. For instance, in applying for an MBA, at least two years experience is ideal. My suggestion would be to do your homework, pick the right schools and programs for you, and finally dig deeper into your past experience to find the most valuable stories. That will be hugely helpful for your application. Let me know if you have any further questions!
