Hi there! Jon Frank here, happy to help.To answer your question, accounting doesn’t require many skills in advanced math. As long as you have a basic knowledge, you’ll be fine. However, if you are changing majors from your college degree, I would suggest that you take some accounting classes in the meantime, since this will increase your chances of being accepted into a graduate program. Also, you need to have clear goals, talking in your essays about what you want to do in the future with a degree in accounting. This can have a big impact on your ultimate application result.
