Dear All,
I am a new faculty member of the civil engineering department at the Montana
State University at Bozeman. I will start my research program in August
2013 and plan to take on graduate students in the coming semesters. Please
send me an email if you are interested in pursuing an advanced degree in
Transportation Engineering. Email: yiyi.wang@ce.montana.edu
I look forward to hearing from you!
Here is more info about myself and the university:
My name is Yiyi Wang. I got my doctoral degree in Transportation Engineering
from the University of Texas at Austin. My research focuses on land use
modeling, sustainable transportation planning, traffic safety, and spatial
analysis of behavioral data. I have published peer-reviewed articles in
Transportation Research Record, Journal of Transport Geography, Annals of
Regional Science, and Accident Analysis and Prevention. My information
should be posted soon on the departmental website of Montana State
University.
The civil engineering program of Montana State University is ranked among
the best engineering schools by U.S. News. Along with many multidisciplinary
research across departments, the transportation faculty also works closely
with the productive Western Transportation Institute (WTI) in pavement
design, road ecology, safety, freight management, and planning.
The city of Bozeman enjoys great scenic views, proximity to the Yellowstone
National Park, and a safe, welcoming community.
