A good career after your MBA is one that makes sense to the Adcom. MEaning one that builds on the experience you have already gained, and I think that is maybe what the school was looking for in your application. My suggestion to you, is to not write about a total career switch as your goal, but show rather how you will use what you have already done to propel yourself yet higher into a managerial position.
I would love to get more detail about you and your work experience, what you have done, what leadership you have, what promotions, etc. etc. etc. But anyhow from the numbers you have given me, things do look pretty good, and I would say you would have a shot at top 10 schools.
background and scores are definitely good. but it really depends on your story. What's your career goal and what u want to achieve through MBA. Good luck.
